and Other Tales The thing that actually got me to watching this animation was the beauty of it. One of its directors is Ernest and Celestine's creator Benjamin Renner, so the artwork is almost identical - beautifully flowing watercolors and simple lines without too much details. Patrick Imbert, a painter and animation director in the previous movie, is now a full-time dirctor and he has done a great job. Again. The story was based on Benjamin Renner's original comics and the shorts were connected into a feature movie. The plot is childish and sweet, with a fairytale feeling. Farm animals taking care of a human baby, forest predators taking care of chickens, and all kinds of animals saving Christmas and Santa. :D No serious analyzes would suit this movie, but watch it with your kids.
